Unity Technologies
Art & Content Evangelist
2018-2019
During my degree, I secured a 1-year placement as one of the first Art Evangelists at Unity Technologies. This role focused on empowering creatives with limited coding experience to unlock Unity's full potential and create amazing experiences across various industries.

As an Art Evangelist, my responsibilities included:

- Being part of Unity's public face, representing the company across multiple digital platforms and helping to build a community around its products (Twitter includes Unity Tips and Showcases).
- Creating demos showcasing Unity's latest features and traveling to large-scale conferences to present them (GDC, Unite, Autodesk University, Annecy Film Festival, FMX).
- Hosting technical workshops for Unity enthusiasts and professionals
- Hosting customer webinars
- Co-hosting client meetings to sell Unity products to large-scale corporate companies

With my affinity for Photorealism, I became dedicated to showcasing how creatives with limited coding skills could utilize Unity to bring these experiences to life, thereby democratizing access to this powerful technology. Until then, Unity had been largely inaccessible to a lot of creatives due to its perceived complexity and steep learning curve, but I saw an opportunity to change this narrative and empower people to harness its capabilities.
It was an incredible opportunity to make a real impact on the community and provided exposure to a diverse array of multidisciplinary professionals from Games, to Automotive and AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction).
Presenting at Unite Copenhagen

A talk on how the High Definition Render Pipeline can help developers achieve stunning graphics with no code.

A demonstration on how to leverage Virtual Reality (VR) for designing and reviewing models using the Immersive Collaboration Toolkit.

Overtime, myself and a small Team began targeting the non gaming sector, partnering with with companies such as PiYXZ. By leveraging their Unity plug-in, we showcased the seamless import of complex geometry and data (BIM) that would otherwise be lost during the import process, unlocking new possibilities for industries beyond gaming.
This work, combined with the countless efforts from Unity internal Teams culminated in the development of Unity Reflect, an augmented reality (AR) application that seamlessly integrated CAD and BIM software data, further bridging the gap between Unity and these industries. Through a range of efforts, including blog posts, presentations, demos, and one-on-one conversations with clients and potential partners, we successfully expanded Unity's reach and influence among its target audience, leaving a lasting impact that continues to this day
